Ludwig Schukin
I came from a long line of Russian circus performer and I know the circus world inside pout and upside down.
As a kid I have traveling across Russia couple times. Running around the Manege (circus ring) from my first years. My Father give me early performance experience in small parts in his clown act when I was 6 years old.
I grow up in circus around props, different animals and amazing circus Artist. Some of them become a legend in the Circus World.
In 13 years old I was enroled in Moscow Circus School in Youth Circus Course (very similar to Cert IV including secondary school). After 4 years completing course. I continue study with degree and after 3 years I graduate with Diploma of Circus and Variety Artist. Major in Comedy Acrobatics, Clowning and Aerial Straps artist.
Study In Circus School I was involved in couple projects: two winters in the celebrations of New Years show on Ice. Mixed ice skating and circus in one show. Perform at Christmas celebration in Moscow Kremlen front of the President of Russian Federation – Michael Gorbatchev at main stage. Perform in Moscow 1985 with circus group at 12th World Festival of youth and students.
After graduation in 1986 my employer was Rossgostsirk (Russian state circus company) for 25 years. Travel with Moscow State circus in all different parts of Russia and other countrys: Lebanon 1993, In Japan 1994 tour Moscow state circus on stage, from 1995 touring 3 years in UK and Ireland.
My personal highlights from earlier professional circus artist career was – Perche group act under directions of legendary Nikolay Zemskova
In 1996 was invited with Moscow State Circus to perform in Dominion Theatre in Royal Variety Performance, attended by the Prince of wales on the event’s 75th anniversary.
From 1998 until 2004 USA tour with Circus Vargas, Circus Hannaford, Tuffy Nicholas, Cirque du Soleil in Show “O”, Casino Circus Circus Las Vegas, Work with small and major entertainment companies Dream Cast Entertainment, FOX Studio, Universal Studio, Sandu Entertainment,

2001 – 2002 “Vitaly Scherbo” Gymnastics Club, Las Vegas, NV, USA, MAG; WAG and Sport Acrobatics coach. Advanced Acrobatics and Straps Coach at Sam”s Gymnastics club at Boulder, Las Vegas.
2002 comedy creator, advisor, character coach and performer at famous Gregory Popovich - Comedy Pet Theatre.
In 2004 I was invited to Australia performing for one year on aerial Ninja Fight at Midnight Magic show in Gold Coast, Jupiters Casino.
From 2005 my brother and I open own company Schukins Entertainment. Our company provide entertainment service. Our company develop and touring with Circus, Clown, Mime show – “In Zoom”. With Queensland Art Council our show touring around QLD and NSW schools for 3 years. At school breaks I working at dream job in DreamWorld with entertainment team.
Since 2009, I have been a part of the NICA team and continue to impart my knowledge to the next generation of Australian Circus artists. Specialise exclusively in Cyr Wheel training. I hold Level 2 in Wheel Gymnastics from the International Wheel Federation (Germany & USA Wheel Gymnastics Federation) - 2018. Gymnastics Australia technical membership. Advance Diploma in Circus Arts (Australia) - 2011. Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (Higher Education) - 2011. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - 2011. Intermediate Coaching Accreditation in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and Sport Acrobatics (Gymnastics Australia) - from 2006 and is current. Diploma in Circus and Variety Arts (Moscow) - 1986.
